The issue with excessive oil consumption often involves engines from the EA113 family, commonly referred to as first-generation TSI.

These 2.0 TFSI engines are marked with the following codes:

BHZ BWE BWJ BYD CDL

These engines were found in:

Audi A3, Seat Leon, and VW Golf up to the year 2015.

EA113 Engine

From June 2012, some Audi A4 and A5 models were already equipped with the third generation EA888 engines. These include:

2.0 TFSI engines marked with codes:

In these engines, the problem of excessive oil consumption also occurs but at significantly higher mileages.
